Bang Na: Bangkok’s Most Up and Coming Suburb

As central Bangkok continues to boom, more and more urbanites are making the move to the city’s burgeoning suburbs. Once you have shopped up an appetite, explore the many culinary offerings at the malls or head to one of Bang Na’s many convenient supermarkets – Tesco Lotus Extra Bang Na or Makro are just a stone’s throw away – to try your own hand in the kitchen.

Alive with Activity
Bang Na is a haven for residents looking to lead a more active lifestyle. Spend the day walking, running or exploring the 200 acres of Rama XI Park, Bangkok’s biggest park, known for its lake and botanical gardens. Or if you’re feeling more adventurous, visit Nong Bon Lake Park for a morning bike ride along 4km of pristine lakeside paths before testing your skills at windsurfing, kayaking or sailing through classes at the park’s water sports centre.
